Smart-Beleg reads QR codes (even on a phone photo) and the text of PDF invoices. It does not read text on photos or scanned PDFs — there you add the details yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring over my bexio data?

Yes, fully automatically. You connect your bexio account with an access token, and Finox imports contacts, items and documents — no CSV export, no manual re-entry.

Is the QR-bill VAT-compliant?

Yes. Finox generates Swiss QR-bills to the current standard, including correct VAT disclosure. You set per company whether you're VAT-liable.

Is there a free trial?

You don't need one: the Free plan is free forever — with 5 invoices per month and no credit card. If you need more, switch to Solo or Team anytime.

Can I manage multiple companies?

Yes. You can run several companies under one account — handy if you look after more than one business. Solo and Team include one company; each additional company is from CHF 79 per year.

What languages is Finox available in?

Finox is available in German, French, Italian and English — you can also issue documents in your customer's language.

Where is my data stored?

The app, database, documents and backups run in Switzerland. They are hosted by Infomaniak in Swiss data centers, with daily encrypted backups, and governed by Swiss data protection law (FADP). You'll find details on all providers used, including for email delivery and payments, in our privacy policy.

Can I pay by invoice?

Yes, with the yearly plan. You receive a Swiss QR-bill by email and have 30 days to pay. Your plan is active right away. The monthly plan is paid by card via Stripe.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. You can cancel at any time; your subscription runs until the end of the paid period, then you're back on the Free plan and your data stays. Without cancellation, the subscription renews automatically; amounts already paid are not refunded pro rata. Choose between a monthly and a yearly plan; paying by invoice is only available with the yearly plan. No setup fee.
